Cupping is a deep tissue therapy in which plastic, silicone or glass cups are used to provide localized suction. Lifting the tissue allows for stagnant fluid and energy to be released and start moving the way it was intended. Cupping can be painful when severe stagnation is occuring and marks can be left on the skin. These are not bruises, this is the release of toxins. The more cupping you have done, ideally the fewer cupping marks you will have. Cupping is great for chronic lower back pain, indigestion, congestion, shoulder tension, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation, well-being and many many other ailments I use both static and active cupping to achieve optimum health. This is about a 50 minute treatment. If you are lucky enough to be incredibly healthy this time could be shorter. If excessive stagnation is found, we may not be able to get to both sides of the body in one session and multiple sessions will be needed. We don't know till we get in there and see what you have going on. Booking back to back cupping appointments is discouraged as this is very deep work and you will need 48 hours in-between sessions to recover.
